Kyle Busch disappointed that Ricky Stenhouse Jr. didn't apologize for NASCAR Daytona carnage
The 2015 champion expected a phone call after Saturday night's crash
Kyle Busch believes Ricky Stenhouse Jr. breached a traditional code of conduct for Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series drivers by not reaching out to him following a crash-filled race at Daytona International Speedway that most believe the Roush-Fenway driver was responsible for.

2018 Mercedes-AMG E63S wagon track drive: Land yacht rocket
The 2018 Mercedes-AMG E63S wagon is not a throwback to the classic hot-rod family haulers of the past. And, thanks to the latest Porsche Panamera, it’s not even the most powerful wagon on the market today. It is a fully-realized, technologically-advanced, five-person-and-tons-of-gear yacht-rocket that can tackle a racetrack and a road trip with equal ease. All you need is $108,000 to spend on such a thing. Actually, if you do plan to take it to the track, you want the $9,000 optional carbon ceramic brakes. Still, for a scant $117,000, this rip-roaring all-wheel-drive wagon can be yours.
Lamborghini Huracan Performante destroyed in gas station fire
A Lamborghini Huracan Performante was destroyed in a gas station fire in Kirkwood, Missouri, late last week as it was returning from the Goldrush Rally. The blaze was reportedly started when another car, a Chrysler minivan according to bystander video, drove off from a pump with the fuel hose still inserted, causing gasoline to spray on to the Huracan. As the gasoline came into contact with the engine bay of the Huracan, the car ignited, all while the owner was inside the gas station itself.

Tesla signs deal for factory in China amid rising trade tensions
Tesla is expanding its production overseas, and it's headed right for the largest EV and hybrid market. The automaker has reached a preliminary agreement with the government of Shanghai -- the city is an automaker hub -- to build a factory with a capacity to produce 500,000 vehicles a year, Bloomberg reports. The factory and its output are planned to dwarf Tesla's current U.S. production capabilities, and it comes after a year of negotiations between the electric automaker and Shanghai local government in China.

New car sales for June 2018: Winners and losers
U.S. light-vehicle deliveries, boosted by healthy incentives, America's surging appetite for light trucks and an extra weekend of sales, rose 5.2 percent in June as the auto industry closed out the first half of 2018 on a high.
Here's what tariffs could mean for Japanese automakers
As the threat of a trade war with a number of auto-producing nations
looms, interest groups are sounding the alarm that U.S. employees and
consumers would be hurt first and foremost if the threatened 20 or 25
percent tariffs go into effect. Specifically, dealer groups are warning
that up to 2 million new-vehicle sales could be lost as prices for some
vehicles skyrocket, inevitably slowing down dealership traffic and
forcing layoffs of dealership staff, according to Automotive News.
Jaguar Land Rover warns 'bad Brexit' could put its U.K. future in doubt
The U.K's two-year-old referendum that resulted in the historic decision to leave the European Union is continuing to trouble automakers with operations in the country, and the last 24 months have hardly produced less uncertainty over what it means for their businesses. Quite the opposite, the financial futures of those automakers with significant assembly operations in the U.K. remain murky, as top U.K. politicians have been unable to provide clarity on the U.K.'s future status as it leaves the single market and the EU customs union.
7 coolest cars from Greenwich Concours Europa
The annual Greenwich Concours is always good for cars you've never seen in the metal, even if you've been attending concours events for years. If there is one trend we've noticed in the past few years with this still-cozy event, it's that oddball cars are starting to gently displace the usual concours frequent fliers, giving showgoers a look at cars they wouldn't otherwise see at Pebble or Amelia Island.
